*For those who think they may use medication at the time of birth, you will still find great benefits with HypnoBirthing®. What new mothers may not know is you cannot get an epidural until you’re cervix has thinned and dilated to a certain point. For a first time mum that can be a long time. However, it is common for HypnoBirthing® mum’s to be fully effaced and dilated to 1-3 cm before labor begins. Not using chemical anesthesia or using much less anesthesia, also tends to aid in recovery for the new mother and infant.
The skills you learn in HypnoBirthing® will be used before, during and after the birth of your baby and for the rest of your life. Without a doubt there is a huge difference between mothers who use HypnoBirthing® and those who do not.
